Visit Lions Tigers & Bears

Lions Tigers & Bears is dedicated to providing a safe haven for abused and abandoned exotic animals while inspiring an educational forum to end the exotic animal trade. We are a NO KILL, NO BREED sanctuary that allow the animals in our care to live out their lives with dignity in a caring and safe environment. You can visit Lions Tigers & Bears to see our work first hand. Visits are by appointment only.  The ranch is not open to the public other than to its supporting members (including “Members-for-a-Day”).

Lions Tigers & Bears is a wonderful place to visit.  All visits to Lions Tigers & Bears are by appointment only. The ranch is not open to the public other than to its supporting members (including “Members-for-a-Day”). In addition to being home to 19 species, the ranch has a rich history for you to explore. Lions Tigers & Bears is located on what was once a stage coach stop, and on your visit you can see the historical adobe structure that still exists today. Click here to learn more about our ranch.

Rules, Regulations and Suggestions
Lions Tigers & Bears has developed these rules, regulations and suggestions to make your visit more enjoyable and to ensure your safety and the safety of our animals.

All guests must check-in with a staff member at the check-in area before beginning their adventure.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No running is allowed at the ranch.

Lions Tigers & Bears is located in a high risk fire area, and smoking IS NOT permitted.

We suggest that when you visit Lions Tigers & Bears, you wear layers of clothing for varying temperatures and comfortable shoes for walking on dirt pathways and grass. We also suggest bringing plenty of drinking water for your visit.

You are welcome to bring your cameras. However, all photographs and video taken on LTB premises are for your personal use only and not to be used for commercial or financial gain. All photos taken by on-site staff and volunteers are the property of LTB and may be used on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and television, as well as in eNewsletters and printed marketing materials.

Please do not bring your pets. Pets are not allowed in the sanctuary – not even if you leave them in your car (which is not a good idea anyway!).

Lions Tigers & Bears is a “No Contact” sanctuary. For your safety and that of the animals, we enforce a strict no-touch policy.  All of our habitats have a secondary perimeter fence which prevents anyone from coming into direct contact with the animals.

Any visitors who choose to not follow our rules will be asked to leave.
