Bobbi has always been an animal lover and has been working with Big Cats since 1992. After years of witnessing all the horrible abuse and neglect inflicted on captive exotics and the dumping and trading of exotic cats and animals; she decided to start Lions, Tigers & Bears in hopes of making a difference for exotic animals everywhere. By rescuing a few and increasing public awareness of how
our exotic animals really live and are cared for, Bobbi hopes that some day any individual or organization that takes on the responsibility of an exotic animal will be held responsible to provide for that animal for its ENTIRE LIFE.
Mark and Bobbi have known each other since 1985 and were married in 2001. Mark had never owned an animal until meeting up with Bobbi! After moving in with Bobbi in 1996 he is our saving grace not only to the animals but also to all the building and repairs that go on here at LTB. There is not a project on the property that Mark does not have his hands in; If it breaks he can fix it.
Mark & Bobbi own Brink Designs a Custom Paint and Graphic Design Studio specializing in vehicle lettering and signage. Mark is an incredible artist! He started his business out of his parents garage in high school and it is now located at the airport in El Cajon CA. He paints and does vinyl graphics on everything from Helmets to helicopters. His favorites are all the different race cars as Mark is a true race fan. Mark & Bobbi enjoy the company of all the animals, family, friends, racing, travel and Skiing.
Barb volunteers here at LTB at
least five days a week. She was
here on day one when Raja and
Natasha arrived. Barb runs the
Big Cat care here at LTB. She
also does most all of the thank
you's, keeps track of all our
members and keeps our gift
shop stocked and organized. She makes the ½ hour drive everyday rain or shine. Barb has been married to her husband Mel for 17 years. Her husband is a big supporter of her love and dedication to the animals.
Mel and Barb live in Alpine, CA and own and operate a helicopter company. Barb, a true animal lover sits on our board and is completely dedicated to our cats.
